128 Bruce Street is the sister property of 126 Bruce Street, as the structures are adjacent and linked through a common history. The buildings are collectively known as the Ewing building. 128 Bruce Street is unique in that it features facade bays, large picture windows, and a concrete ramp leading to the street from the rear of the property.
128 Bruce was constructed in the 1930s and was initially used as a retail store in the front while the rear section was used as a feed warehouse. This unique duality is still represented in the space as the large ‘front of the house’ features an ideal location for clients and general meetings due to the oversized windows while the rear of the space is a perfect general office area where employees can work undisturbed by the foot traffic of a single story building in downtown.
