Jimmy’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

Are you a total fan of the New Years Eve celebrations? Jimmy Madison’s is having a “Back to the 80’s” NYE party and you are invited!

A special dinner menu is planned with special cocktails, a DJ spinning your favorite 80’s hits, dancing, party favors (while they last) and a champagne toast at midnight! Doesn’t get nay better than that! Get some friends together and go spend New Year’s at Jimmy’s!

The party starts at 11 am on December 31st! Happy New Year!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Brunch

Home for the Holidays? Get in the holiday spirit with The Artful Dodger! This Saturday, December 24th the coffeehouse & cocktail lounge will be hosting an ugly Christmas sweater brunch!

The will have a Christmas themed brunch menu and Christmas drinks. Doors open from 8:30am with brunch starting at 10am. Brunch will be offered Saturday AND Sunday!

The menu:

  • Roasted citrus goose tacos topped with persimmons jalapeno salsa and cilantro
  • Christmas spiral ham, with grand mariner whipped sweet potato and oven roasted brussel sprouts
  • Matcha waffle topped with whipped cream and cranberry sauce royale
  • Christmas cookie platter – a variety of homemade Christmas cookies served with your choice of eggs and bacon or sausage
  • Egg Nog French toast, bella bakery hearth dunked in mt. crawford creamery egg nog and topped with southern comfort maple syrup

Cask for a Cause

Before you take off for the holidays, Brother’s Brewery and United Way of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County invite you to their Cask for a Cause on Friday, December 16 from 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Sales from each pint sold will go to the United Way H-R, whose mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the community to create lasting changes in conditions.

There will also be a silent auction of the frame event poster with the proceeds going to United Way H-R.

Free Community Yoga

Calling all yogis! Join Shenandoah Yoga this Friday, December 9 from 7 -8:30 pm for a FREE community yoga class in celebration of the upcoming winter solstice. The class will be open to all levels and new, current and former students. Optional donations of cash or non-perishable food will be accepted and donated 100% to the local food bank.

Holiday Art Market

Join Larkin Arts and 22 other art vendors this Saturday from noon to 7pm for their 5th annual Holiday Art Market! Show your support of local artists while picking out the perfect present for someone at the same time!
